1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of CuriOra Parent, CuriOra Kids, related websites, and backend services (together, the “Service”). By creating a parent account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Primary operations and support contacts use the curiora.in domain. Governing law and disputes are subject to the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply.
2. Who may use CuriOra
- Parent accounts are for adults (18+ or age of majority) who are parents, legal guardians, or otherwise authorised to manage a child’s device and data.
- CuriOra Kids is used on a child’s device under parental setup. It is not an independent account for children to self-register as parents.
3. The Service
CuriOra is a digital wellbeing and parental-control tool: limits, pairing, usage insights, quests, and related features. It is not medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice. Features may change as we improve the product.
4. Parental responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide about children and devices.
- You must have authority to install CuriOra Kids and enable system permissions on the child’s device.
- You are responsible for reviewing limits, approvals, and quest proof content shared in the Parent app.
- You must keep OTP codes and account access secure and not share them with unauthorised people.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the Service, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt servers or security
- Use CuriOra to harass, exploit, or unlawfully monitor someone without legal authority
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse APIs beyond normal app use
- Upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content (including in quest proof photos)
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for others.
6. Licence
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Parent and Kids apps and websites for personal family use in accordance with these Terms. We retain all rights in the Service, branding, and software.
7. Trials, availability & changes
Free trials or plans may be offered subject to eligibility rules (including one-time trial per parent identity). The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that limits or blocking will be uninterrupted, error-free, or able to stop all circumvention on a device.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CURIORA AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) INR 2,000 (OR EQUIVALENT), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
10. Account closure
You may close your parent account as described in the Parent app and Privacy Policy. We may retain minimal identity and trial/licence data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts for violations of these Terms or legal risk.

12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires a different process.
