A parent ready to answer questions about CuriOra
How does CuriOra work?

You use CuriOra Parent on Android, iPhone, or the web. Your child uses CuriOra Kids on an Android phone. Pair with a short code, then you can see app usage and set the limits your plan allows.

How do I set up CuriOra?

Install Parent, install Kids on the child's Android phone, pair with a short code, then set limits. Most families finish in about five minutes.

What does CuriOra see on my child's phone?

App names, categories, and time spent. Enough to guide. CuriOra does not read chats, watch inside apps, record calls, or sell family data.

Does CuriOra read WhatsApp or other messages?

No. CuriOra does not read private chats, watch inside apps, or record calls.

Does CuriOra track location?

Location is optional. If you turn it on, you see a last check-in — not a live map, and not continuous tracking. Last check-in is on Premium or a trial, not on Free.

Can my child ask for extra time?

Yes. On Free and Premium, the child can send a request and you approve or decline it. You can see the day's usage while you decide.

Does CuriOra work on iPhone?

The Parent app works on iPhone, Android, and the web. The Kids app, which applies the rules on your child's phone, is Android-only today. An iPhone Kids app is planned, not available.

What does CuriOra cost?

CuriOra Free is ₹0 for 1 child and 1 device, with app usage, categories, a simple daily limit, and extra-time requests. Premium is ₹49 per month or ₹399 per year. It adds app-wise limits and blocking, study and bedtime schedules, goals and rewards, co-parents, and up to 10 children and 15 devices. No card is needed to start.

Is there a free trial?

You can start Free with no card. If a trial is offered, its length follows the current offer on the Pricing page.

Can I manage more than one child?

Free includes 1 child and 1 device. Premium and trial allow up to 10 children and 15 devices, each with their own limits, plus co-parents.

Which languages does CuriOra support?

The website, Parent app, and Kids app screens are in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Kids follows the child's phone language. Help Center menus match those six languages; full Help guides are in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.

Can my child uninstall CuriOra Kids?

You can make that harder. In Parent, open Limits → Protect and block Settings, stores, and installers. That needs Accessibility on Kids, and it is not a permanent lock. Some phone brands can still remove the app. If that happens, install Kids again and pair.

How is CuriOra different from Google Family Link?

CuriOra is built for extra-time requests, limits by app category, and setup with a pairing code — no supervised Google child account. Family Link is Google's free supervision tool, with location and device features on supported Android phones and Chromebooks. Choose based on the problem you want to solve. Our blog has a side-by-side comparison.
